What's Going on in Yemen

Every month Iona writes a Yemen-related long-read for all paid subscribers over on her Patreon page. In between, subscribers get irregular tit-bits, behind the scenes details when Iona is on reporting trips in Yemen, pictures, videos and thoughts on what’s going on in Yemen. 

In each month’s longer post Iona pays a local contributor (Field Payment), or donates to a local organisation (Field Donation), that features or is involved in what she's writing about. It’s a tiny attempt to contribute something small to the community she either relies on to do her work, or is the subject of her work.

Iona's Yemen writings and posts are available on a three-tier, pay-what-you-can basis to try and make the content inclusive for everyone. The 'pay it forward' tier is for those able to pay a little extra to contribute to monthly Field Payments and Field Donations. Every tier will have the same level of access.
